We sailed off Punta Tuna, Puerto Rico, this morning. I was hoping to catch a tuna. Makes sense, right? I did hook a spanish mackerel, but the shark wanted his half... 🦈
Hello, fellow map nerds. (My people!) We receive many comments from people who are interested in where we are and what we have done. I thought I'd like to put together a general path of our travels, with the hashtag #whereismiles. We may need to do some catching up here, but I wanted to start with the season we're in now. The nights at sea were star-filled beauty, with no ambient light around us. ****...
How fun! Our quick photo of Miles won Waterway Guide's "photo of the month" award in July of 2020. We found out that the same picture won "photo of the year!" Cindy actual took the photo, not me. However, it was my idea. I guess we can share the credit. God gets the glory, though.
OK, I know that most sailing blogs and video channels have used a variation of this title, but I wanted to jump on the bandwagon because of the essential truth of the statement. It could be worse. We could be working on our boat away from the ocean we have come to love.
